Ever sent an e-mail away into cyberspace and immediately thought “OH NO! WHAT HAVE I DONE??” If so, fear no more! Amber Mac, host of Webnation joined us this morning and gave us all the latest tech. updates – including the most recent Gmail application that allows you to “take-back” a sent e-mail within 30 seconds. Gmail also added some neat features such as free calling from your account throughout Canada and the United States, as well as priority mail sorting for all your emails!
Only 7 days to go until TIFF begins and this morning we chatted with film critic Peter Howell from the Toronto Star about the highly anticipated festival. Must see movies of the year? Black Swan is one film that’s already receiving some Oscar buzz and Peter informed us that A Hockey Musical starring Olivia Newton-John is also a fantastic film! Also this year in honor of TIFF’s 35th anniversary, you can catch some classic TIFF gems – for free! And last but not least – some tips on how to live nicely with others! Our intern heads off to university next week to live with 6 other girls so Darren and Roger passed along some helpful advice! To do: clean your dishes, have rules about house guests, and change the toilet paper roll! 7 girls in one house….good luck with that!!
